CAROLINE MATHIAS WINS THE “MISS CHARMING TEEN” TITLE IN ABU DHABI
Miss Caroline Ruth Mathias, a Mangalorean teenager from Abu Dhabi was
crowned “Miss Charming Teen”, at a contest held here in Abu Dhabi on
Thursday 19 September 2002.
Under the auspices of India Social Centre of Abu Dhabi the yearly ISC Open
Charming Teen and Handsome Teen contest was held in the presence of packed
audience.
The all U.A.E. level competition was keenly contested by beautiful teenage
girls and handsome boys from various States of India spread all over the
U.A.E.
Caroline won the coveted crown among the 50 odd participants and from
among 22 participating teenage girls after a grueling test of wits and
glamour.
Among the other winners, Master Sanjay Jagannath also a Mangalorean, won
the “Handsome Teen” Title.

Miss Sharon D’Souza – the reigning “Mangalorean Queen” along with Mr. Roy
Abraham compeered the show.
Caroline is the proud daughter of Mr. Joseph Mathias and Mrs. Leena
Mathias of Shirva (Manchakkal), based in Abu Dhabi and is a student of X
Grade of St. Joseph’s School Abu Dhabi. She is an accomplished dancer,
athlete and all rounder.
