MUDARANGADY ST.FRANCIS
XAVIER'S ASSOCIATION U.A.E
Executive committee members
Mudarangadi (Also known as 'Kennha,
belongs to Mangalore Diocese, Udupi district) parishioners in
Dubai gathered recently at St.Mary's church hall with one
mind and one vision members united to form an association.
The main aim of this association is to help each other in
difficulties and help the poor in our villages. Also, to bring
all the Mudarangady ) parishioners of U.A.E. under one umbrella
called 'St. Francis Xavier's Association U.A.E'
The members decided that the association should have a committee
to run in all cases. Therefore, it was necessary for everybody
to have a management and co-coordinators.
The elected members are:
The president -Michael D'souza Kenha
Vice President -Alwyn D'souza, Pilar
Secretary -Joy D'souza
Asst.Secretary-Mrs.Asha Fernandes
Treasurer -Charles Fernandes
Asst. Treasurer-Lesli D'souza
Cultural secretary- Anil Praksh D`Souza.
Finally President Mr.Michael D`Souza spoke how to develop our
activities in helping the poor as well as our contribution
towards funds.
The first big event of the
association will be held on 13th September, 2002 at Al Mas
Residence Dubai to celebrate Mother Mary's Birthday. )
parishioners from Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and other places of U.A.E
alre also expected to gather on this big occasion.
