The prime motto of KCWA is providing financial assistance for poor children's education in the Canara region. As part of its annual programs for the welfare of its members and children, KCWA will be organizing Children's Christmas Tree on Friday the 6th of December at the Indian Arts Circle Auditorium, Funaitees.

The day-long program which includes fancy dress, fun games, music, dance and Santa's visit, will start at 930AM with the competition for KCWA members' children followed by distribution of prizes to winners of various talent competitions concluded recently at the Carmel School grounds. A skit/tableau to convey the Christmas message will be presented by KCWA artists. Every year KCWA rewards its members' children who excel in their academic performance. Top scoring STD X & XII students of 2001/2002 will be honored on this auspicious day with a merit scholarship and certificate

Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, and Jingle all the way…. Santa arrives, children rush to see him and queue up for prizes. Games will be conducted and youngsters will now rush to the center-stage for dance.
