Curtains up for ‘ Dothor Damiyaon’  in Kuwait

Kuwait: KCWA is all set to present it's Konkani spectacle of the year 'Dothor Damiyaon' on 25th April 2002 , 6:30 pm at the Indian Arts Circle, Kuwait. Supported by a caste of well known new and old talents of Kuwait, this drama ensures entertainment of the highest kind. Conceived by 'Maand Sobhann' in order to bring quality drama to the Konkani stage and written by George Pinto, Ikal, 'Dothor Damiyaon' revolves around the plight of a hapless country doctor involved in circumstances beyond his control. Amid plenty of comedy and thought provoking instances, the drama snakes into a surprising finale. Playwright George Pinto has shown his genius in transforming this English play into an enjoyable Konkani comedy.

It will be a pleasure to see the most seasoned talents of KCWA on stage after a long time. Caste includes Valerian D' Souza, Johny Surathkal, Steven Machado, Rudolf D' Souza, Reena, Salvadore, Renny, and Anil Menezes. Direction by Lancy Rodrigues. Supplementing the class act will be some of the best Mangalorean singers in Kuwait. Sponsors for songs and souvenir are most welcome. Passes are available with Management committee members.
