Kanarites Youth Association Mumbai, Celebrates Its Silver Jubilee this year

Kanarites Youth Association, Mumbai established in 1977 is proudly
celebrating its silver jubilee this year.
In its existance of 25 long years the association has served many good
causes by raising funds for the schools, churches, education, etc. The
association has produced a Konkani Video film "Kazara Uprant" . Video
cassettes of this film have reached a large number of Konkani homes.
As its main objective, the Association encouraged and supported various
Konkani talents of the community such as stage artists, singers, musicians,
etc. by organising a number of cultural events during its 25 years
existence.
On the occasion of its Silver Jubilee Year, the Association presents a 25
year old Konkani Drama 'Kazarachem Utor' (written by Henry D'Silva and
Driected by Francis Fernandes Cascia) on 4th November 2002 (Diwali Holiday)
at 10.00 a.m. at Baidas Auditorium, Vile-Parle (W).
On this occasion cash awards will given to 25 Konkani speaking students from
SSC to Graduation level.
