WELCOMES KALAANGANN ABHIYAAN; TO ORGANISE 'MAND SOBHAN'
SHOW ON OCTOBER 25TH.

Kalaangann Abhiyaan which was ceremoniously flagged off in the UAE on May 16, Having successfully toured the UAE under the care of the Abhiyaan Samithi and having also completed the tour of Bahrain- thanks to Shri. Richard Moras and his 'Konkani Kutam',reached Qatar on June 9. Shri. Ronald Mendonca, The Chairman,Governing body,Kalaangann, joined the abhiyaan in Doha-Qatar.
Inspite of the 'Donor Fatigue'gulf is now experiencing, The abhiyaan was most cordially welcomed to Qatar by MCC, The only Manglorean-konkani organisation in Qatar - ably led by the ever enthusiatic and eminently generous Shri. Felix Lobo.
Shri. Felix Lobo not only sheltered and fed the abhiyaan, but also mobilised active support of the members of MCC.
He was ably assisted by his vice president Shri. Vivian D'Souza and his P.R.O Shri. Sunil D'Silva. The MCC has also come forward to organise a Mandd Sobhann show on October 25,2002 in aid of Kalaangann. The Abhiyaan now has moved to Kuwait and shall be there till June 23.
