MANGALOREAN  CATHOLIC ASSOCIATION CELEBRATES ITS 96^TH ANNIVERSARY

Mumbai : Mangalorean Catholic Association, situated at Sitharam Building near Crawford Market celebrated its 96^th Anniversary on July 28^th at their premises.

The celebration started with the thanksgiving high mass at Mandavi's Loyola Church

Rev. Fr. Prakash Tuscano of the parish presided over the cultural programme.  Mr. P. D'Souza, the renowned Konkani Writer and Journalist was the chief guest.  Mr. Lawerence Coelho of Divo Konkani weekly and Mrs. Suzan Coelho of Secular Citizen news paper were the guests of honour who distributed the prizes for the winners of various games and cultural activities.

Mr. Edwin Menezes the president of the association welcomed the guests.  Mr. Alwyn Lobo, proprietor of Gloria stores honoured the President and Secretary of the association by handing over mementos for their dedicated service towards the association.  Mr. Sunil Pais compeered the show.  As  part of cultural programme, Mr. Roshan D'Silva and his group gave musical programme.  The assistant Secretary of the association Mr. Prakash Mathew delivered  the vote of thanks.
