Kuwait August 12 - Shirva
Welfare Association (SWAK) will present a Konkani Musical
evening by renowned Konkani composer and singer "Konkann Kogull"
Wilfy Rebimbus on Friday the 4th of October at 6.30 P.M, 2002 at
the Indian Arts Circle, Finatees, Kuwait. Wilfy will be
accompanied by his wife Meena, Daughter Veena and son Vishwas
Rebimbus.
Wilfy Rebimbus, popularly known as "Wilfy" for his fans, is
considered to be the father of Modern Konkanni Music. He has
been awarded the title of 'Konkann Kogull' and is credited with
having taken konkanni music to new heights with his unique
compositions and singing style. In a career spanning almost 35
years, Wilfy has written thousands of songs and staged more than
207 'Wilfy Nites' and released 33 albums.
During his show in Kuwait, the local talents Rony D'cunha,
Jasmine D'cunha & Jason Lasrado will enthrall the audience with
Wilfy's latest Konkani hits.

The show will be compered by renowned Master of Ceremonies,
Dubai based Walter Nandalike of daijidubai.com fame.
The Orchestra will be arranged and conducted by none other than
the Sangeeth Maestro Adrian Gomes.
The skit and jokes will be directed by Johny Surathkal & Lancy
Rodrigues and enacted with the support of Anil Menezes, Jason
Lasrado & Valerian D'souza.
Dances for this show will be choreographed by Sudhi from
Ballerine's Dance Academy.
The show will include Konkani sentimental, pop and baila songs
along with skits, jokes and Dances.
