Book on 'Migration' by Dr. Norbert Lobo & Prof. Joshi released

Norbert Lobo, of Economics Department, St. Aloysius College &
Dr. Lobo, hailing from Moodubelle (Udupi district), who recently secured Phd., is well recognised Konkani community activist.
The book, published by Mohit Publications, New Delhi, will be released by Economist Prof Abdul Aziz on January 12 at Mangala Gangothri. The book highlights the variations and extent of rural-urban migration at various levels and would be useful to students, teachers and researchers in Economics, Sociology and Demography, a release said.
The book has made an in-depth statistical study of migrated rural people in India, especially in Karnataka and South Kannada in last four decades. The book contains case studies of migrated individuals, their experiences, reasons and effects, the release added.
