Udupi, January 9: Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Udupi is considering introducing nonstop Super Express buses between Udupi and Mangalore.  Udupi Deputy Commissioner S. R. Umashankar, addressing the Transport Adalat said, the colour coding to differentiate Express, Limited Stop and mofussil buses would also be introduced soon.

Over issuing permits by State Transport Authority (STA), he said it leads to unethical competition among buses and ends in accidents, which should be noted.  Amruth Paul, Superintendent of Police, Narayanaswamy, Regional Transport Officer (RTO), Hemanth Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Transport from Shimoga division and Rabeendra Nayak, Transport Owner and Consumers' Forums representatives participated.
