Top quality Baila show in Dubai

 

Dubai, May 10: Each grain of the sands of the desert of Arabia was gifted with a dancing heart here in Dubai to the beats of Baila Masala on Friday the 10th May at the Al Nasr Leisureland. The crowd went into a rampage during the final one hour non-stop Baila Masala session, who witnessed a rare quality programme in konkani in the gulf.

Various bailas including Konkani, Tulu, Kannada, Telugu, Arabian, Mauritius, Srilankan won the hearts of the audience present, whose number was not as expected because of a Friday evening.

While Eric sung some of the beautiful konkani bailas along with wife Joyce Ozario, Rithesh Kiran, Dr. Rashmi Kiran and Alwyn Fernandes; the Kannada Star and Music Director cum singer - Guru Kiran mesmerised the crowds with his melodious voice. He sang Tulu, Kannada, Telugu and Konkani bailas. His song "MTV Subbulaxmi" and Tulu song based on Koraga Folk beat "Lelega" attracted the crowds and he moved even among the audience and made them to sing. The lyrics of the song "Tujem Ghor Khoim" were of highest standard and the song "Ambil" reminded of the age old traditional food which most of the present generation has forgotten.

The Nach Sobhann troupe danced to every alternative song and kept their reputation as the top most baila dance troupe anywhere in the world.

Mr. Walter Nandalike compered the programme with his multilingual talent and proved once again he is the best in Konkani in the gulf.
