Bahrain: 'Konkanni Kutom' supports 'Kalangann'

Bahrain June 06:Konkani Kuttom of Bahrain- well known Konkanni organisation in the gulf have contributed Rs. 40,000/- to Kalaangann - the Konkani heritage centre run by Mandd Sobhaann. The amount was handed over to Vishwa Konkani Kala Ratn Eric Ozario at their meeting held at the Karnataka Social Club recently.

Mr. Richard Moras, Mr. Ronald D'Souza, Ronald Olivera, Mr. Manu Bahrain, Mr. Henry D'Almeida and other core committee members were present on behalf of Konkani Kuttom during the occasion.

'Konkanni Kutom' who celebrated their second successful  anniversary last month, have contributed in a big way to the  betterment of the Konkanni Language & Culture in the past.

After the successfull abhiyan in Dubai, the Mandd Sobhann team consisting Eric Ozario, Arun Raj and Stany Alvares is in Bahrain and will meet Karnataka Social Club, Konkan Singers Club apart from several other organisations and individuals. They will brief them about the progress made at Kalaangann during the past few years.

The Abiyaan team will proceed to Doha-Qatar on 9th June.
